Country Braid House will be closed Friday, September 4 through Monday, September 7 so our team can enjoy the holiday weekend with family and friends.

A new custom project is officially underway!

We just received approval to move ahead with this 9' x 11' rectangular braided rug. The inspiration came straight from the rug featured on the cover of our brochure—and this one is already looking remarkably similar!

Now the fun begins. Let’s see how close we can get to the original inspiration! We’ll share more photos as the rug comes together.

The finished photos are here—and this rug came out beautifully!

This large 9' x 11' hit-or-miss braided rug has been in the works for a while, and we’re so pleased with the final result. Its wonderful mix of colors gives it so much warmth, character and timeless charm.

It’s now headed to its new home in Connecticut. We’re hoping to share installation photos once it’s in place—stay tuned!

A beautiful work in progress! 🌸

We’re currently completing this floral hooked and braided runner, and it’s already shaping up to be something truly special. The combination of detailed hooked florals and handcrafted braiding gives it so much color, texture and character.

It’s going to be an absolute stunner when it’s finished—we can’t wait to share the completed runner with you!

After spending two years on an incredible adventure in Africa with the Peace Corps, Grace has returned home—and joined us once again.

Another incredible custom project is complete!

This blue and beige multi-square runner features 13 individually crafted squares and measures just over 21 feet in both directions. Every section was carefully laced together by hand—a true labor of craftsmanship from beginning to end.

It will soon be installed in a second-story balcony hallway, and we have a feeling it’s going to be an absolute knockout!
