This Saturday, August 15th from 4-8, I'll have the mobile pop up-shop set up in the Food Lion parking lot in Timberville next to the Hardee's.

Planning on going to the Rockingham County fair? Stop by on your way there to fuel up and get ready with some homemade goods.

🫓 Made from scratch cinnamon rolls with a few icing flavors to choose from, as well as garlic herb flatbreads made with my homegrown herbs. I'll have free samples to try (photos coming soon. 🤫).

🌱 Fresh and dried homegrown herbs.

🍓 Strawberry syrup that is sweet, fruity, and refreshing. It goes well in lemonades, sodas, on desserts and more! I'll have free samples available of this as well.

🎉 Grand Reveal! 🎉

I've finally perfected the Hazel Mountain Creations mobile storefront!

I know it's not your typical shop, but sometimes we have to think outside the box. I was doing markets as a vendor throughout the season, and even then it took a lot out of me. Setting up the tables, canopy, and moving all my products in and out of my van twice was exhausting; not to mention the heat. After having surgery and getting an official diagnosis of what is going on (stage 4 endometriosis), I knew I needed to pivot and think outside the box. It's going to be a long journey to try and heal my body, but I miss being out in the community and need to grow my business. I needed a way to significantly reduce my workload to something I can manage, but still offer in person shopping and pop-up events. My solution: the mobile storefront. All the shelves, displays, signs, and fabric products stay in the shop. The body care products, cleaners, and pantry items are kept inside in a temperature controlled climate until I'm on the move to ensure the best quality possible.

There's nothing like a fresh, homemade latte to get you going! My go to is Black Silk Equal Exchange Espresso, oat milk creamer, caramel sauce, and brown butter toffee flavor syrup.

I can really use the extra kick today. It's been an exhausting past few days while perfecting my shop setup. The shelves and table really need some TLC to fit the vision, but I've made a lot of progress.

🌟Hazel Mountain Creations is once again expanding! 🌟

When I first opened, I didn't have a specific direction I wanted to go in. I tend to be more of a creative jack-of-all-traits type person. My goal was to find a need in the community and help fill it. I started off with sewn goods and art. From there, I grew my inventory of sewn goods, but I felt like something was missing and wanted to move in a new direction. I make my own skin care/body products due to how sensitive my skin is and wanted to share my products with the community. I love them and hope you do too!

Recently, I read into the VA laws on food sales and I did not realize there is so much more I can offer through the Cottage Law. I've wanted to be able to offer consumable goods, but didn't want to deal with all the inspections, legalities, charges, etc.

With that being said, here's the start of the Hazel Mountain Creations Pantry Collection! I will add items to the website after I have inventory of that item, but everything in the Pantry Collection must be paid for in person. You CAN pay with card, Venmo, or Cashapp upon delivery or pickup. This is in accordance with VA Cottage Law.

🌿 I have gotten more into gardening. I've got a variety of herbs that just keep growing. I'm offering them fresh or dry, so you can have them just how you like. I have rosemary, sage, greek oregano, lemon creeping thyme, spearmint, catnip (catmint), basil, rose petals,

🍓 I've been perfecting my strawberry syrup for lemonade and it is so good. It's been my summertime must have. It can be added anywhere you'd like a splash of strawberry sweetness. It comes in a sealed, canned mason jar, so it is shelf stable before opening. Once open, it is good for two weeks refrigerated.

🍪 I love baking and making quality goods from scratch almost as much as I love people enjoying them. I plan to freeze some of my doughs to have onhand to bake and deliver warm and fresh on-demand. Every other baked good will be available on a rotating basis, but I'm happy to take requests.

🚐 Mobile Storefront 🚐

I've been working hard to turn the back of my van into a mobile storefront for Hazel Mountain Creations. It's not perfected yet, but it has definitely come along. I've realized with my ongoing health issues and care going on that it is too difficult for me to set up a table and canopy as a typical vendor. My goal is to be able to still offer in-person shopping, while significantly reducing my workload to what is manageable for me.

Hi, everyone!
I'm looking for locations to have a pop-up shop. I'm planning on turning the trunk of my van into a mobile storefront to provide another way for my customers to shop and to get out into the community more. If you have a location, or know of a location, please let me know! It wouldn't be a daily set up, more of just a pop-up. If you have an event going on, I would love more info. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just a parking lot or space I am allowed to be in.
