To our valued customers –
As you know, this Coronavirus epidemic is a once-in-a-lifetime event that we hopefully never have to face again. The last few weeks having been very trying as we navigate uncharted waters with a constantly changing battle against the spread of this disease.
On Friday, March 20th, The Department of Homeland Security and CISA issued new guidelines classifying what they deem to be “essential” businesses. Under the Food & Agriculture section of these guidelines “Workers who support the manufacture and distribution of forest products, including, but not limited to timber, paper, and other wood products” are classified as essential. This means that FreeState Timbers operations are considered to be essential. Flattering, but it presents a few challenges moving forward.
We will be keeping regular hours but are trying to limit traffic through the shop as much as possible. If you need material pulled, ordered in, or have milling needs, please call in an order or e-mail [email protected]. We can provide dockside pickup for all orders. If you need to come in to personally to look through lumber or slabs please respect all social distancing guidelines.
We are thankful to have served the community for over 20 years. During this challenging time we hope our valued customers will continue to support our small business.
Now for the upside. You and I will probably be able to get to those projects that we couldn’t find time for before. Stay safe. Get in your workshop. Make something.
