Announcement: After serving customers in the Tishomingo and Johnston County area for 12 years, we are sad to announce that this is a close of a chapter.

Blue River Bad Boy is closed for business. (With the mower season complete, our last day was last Thursday.)

In many ways, our business has been a way to serve our community through lawn service, even in slim years when we couldn’t pay ourselves.

We felt a need to keep going out of loyalty to our customers and a desire not to leave them in the lurch.

Unfortunately, it is no longer viable for us to keep our doors open. This was a rough year. (It’s hard to sell mowers in the worst drought since 2013.) But although it is gutting, we are infinitely proud of the mowers we have sold and serviced.

It’s been such a joy getting to interact with customers and hear their stories, in addition to providing products we believe and take pride in.

Thank you for making these past 12 years so rewarding. Wishing you all the very best.
