The Mastertone® OB-250LW is a lightweight resonator banjo that achieves its weight savings by using a tone rim instead of a heavy brass tone ring.

The resulting banjo sounds incredibly similar to its heavier counterpart, but weighs less than nine pounds. It has planetary tuners, a presto tailpiece, and our patented Zero Glide nut. This Mastertone® lives up to its name by providing an incredible banjo voice while being nimble enough for long, comfortable playing sessions.

Get your lightweight OB-250LW today at https://tinyurl.com/59wtdcuu — we've even got it in a left-handed model.

We always love hearing what players do with our instruments.

Bobby Pillow wrote “Grandee Breakdown” as a tribute to Gold Tone Music Group and the Grandee banjo. Check out Bobby playing his original banjo instrumental .

The Mastertone® OB-175 is built to give you that great, classic bluegrass tone. A mahogany resonator and neck accentuate the banjo's maple rim and Remo head. This banjo is finished in a glossy vintage brown and features a vintage-inspired inlay design.

A Zero Glide nut, planetary tuners, a presto tailpiece, and an 11" flat top 20-hole tone ring make this a Mastertone® worthy of the name.
