The Tradicional Classical Guitar is a beautiful, handcrafted instrument and the cornerstone of our company. Every Tradicional is made by skilled luthiers in Madrid, Spain using premium woods that have been dried for at least 20 years. Those woods include a solid red cedar top, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, and a cedar neck with an ebony fingerboard.

The Tradicional dates back to the 1960s when José Ramírez III collaborated with legendary guitarists like Andrés Segovia to evolve our classical guitars. The result was this, and a guitar that Segovia played exclusively until his death decades later. This guitar is made to order, and can be customized with options including different woods for the top, back, and sides, as well as different scale lengths and number of strings.

The 140 Classical Guitar is a beautiful and incredible sounding instrument. This guitar is made in Spain to our exacting specifications, and every 140 Classical is checked in our workshop before being approved for sale. The 140 Classical can be had with a solid cedar or solid spruce top (seen here). Solid Indian rosewood can be found making up the back and sides, and a cedar neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard for smooth playing.

This guitar commemorates our 140 years of guitar-building, having originally started in 1882 in Madrid, Spain. The rosette was designed exclusively for these commemorative guitars by Amalia Ramírez.

The 140 Classical Guitar comes with a hard case for the guitar's protection.
