The Sencilla Flamenco is a concert-ready, handcrafted flamenco guitar. This instrument is made in Spain using high-quality woods including a solid spruce top and solid Indian rosewood back and sides.

The woods used in this guitar have been naturally dried for five to ten years which brings out an exceptional tonal richness within the guitar.

The 140 Classical Studio Guitar takes our venerated Sencilla classical guitar design and simplifies it to make a more affordable but still great-sounding Spanish-built instrument. The 140 line of instruments feature rosette and other flourishes designed by Amalia Ramírez to commemorate our 140 years of making guitars.

This beautiful instrument is made with solid Indian rosewood for the back and sides, and can be had with a solid spruce (seen here) or solid cedar top. Custom Ramírez tuners provide confidence in the guitar's tuning.

Did you know that José Ramírez I began his training as a luthier at the age of 12 in 1870? His training took place at the workshop of Francisco González in Madrid. He went on to found his own company in 1882 with his brother Manuel.

This 140 Classical Studio Guitar commemorates 140 years of Ramírez Guitars with a design specially crafted by Amalia Ramírez, the daughter of José Ramírez III.

The spruce-topped José Ramírez 140 CWE Cutaway Classical Guitar is a beautiful and bright instrument that is designed and built in Spain. It is crafted using solid Indian rosewood for the sides and back, features a 650mm scale length, and an ebony fingerboard.

The 140 CWE features a comfortable action that sits lower than traditional classical guitars. It comes with the signature L.R. Baggs Anthem preamp pickup system, designed and voiced specifically for José Ramírez instruments.

The Tradicional Classical Guitar is a beautiful, handcrafted instrument and the cornerstone of our company. Every Tradicional is made by skilled luthiers in Madrid, Spain using premium woods that have been dried for at least 20 years. Those woods include a solid red cedar top, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, and a cedar neck with an ebony fingerboard.

The Tradicional dates back to the 1960s when José Ramírez III collaborated with legendary guitarists like Andrés Segovia to evolve our classical guitars. The result was this, and a guitar that Segovia played exclusively until his death decades later. This guitar is made to order, and can be customized with options including different woods for the top, back, and sides, as well as different scale lengths and number of strings.

The 140 Classical Guitar is a beautiful and incredible sounding instrument. This guitar is made in Spain to our exacting specifications, and every 140 Classical is checked in our workshop before being approved for sale. The 140 Classical can be had with a solid cedar or solid spruce top (seen here). Solid Indian rosewood can be found making up the back and sides, and a cedar neck is topped with an ebony fingerboard for smooth playing.

This guitar commemorates our 140 years of guitar-building, having originally started in 1882 in Madrid, Spain. The rosette was designed exclusively for these commemorative guitars by Amalia Ramírez.

The 140 Classical Guitar comes with a hard case for the guitar's protection.

The 140 CWE features a comfortable, lowered action compared to traditional classical guitars, and is available with the signature LR Baggs Anthem preamp acoustic guitar pickup. This LR Baggs system is voiced specifically for these José Ramírez guitars.

Available with either a cedar, as seen here, or spruce top, the 140 CWE is ready for anything you can throw at it at home, in the studio, or on the road.
