There’s no place like HOME. 🤎
For this episode of my Thrifty Day Trip series, I’m taking you around my hometown of Brenham, Texas! 🌿 I LOVE living here, raising my family here, and these are some of the places I love sharing when someone asks, “What should we do in Brenham?”
Of course, I had to mix in plenty of thrifting, antiques, good food, coffee…and a scoop of Blue Bell. 😉🍦
📍 BRENHAM, TEXAS — THRIFTY DAY TRIP
☕ The Honey Cup coffee trailer — starting the day with coffee!
🪞 Blue Hydrangeas Antiques & Collectibles — our first treasure-hunting stop.
🌮 El Rorro — breakfast taco time!
🛍️ Higgins South Resale Shop — one of our local resale stops. They also have a smaller second location, Higgins Branch, if you want to add another stop!
🏺 105 Exchange Antiques & Collectibles — more digging for vintage treasures.
👗 Forever Young Thrift Store — my personal favorite local thrift stop!
🤎 Downtown Brenham
🛍️ Brenham Boutique Resale Shop
🪑 Hermann’s Furniture — the oldest furniture store in Texas and such a neat piece of Brenham history!
🚒 Brenham Fire Museum — a quick drive-by this trip, but definitely something to check out while you’re downtown.
🏺 Brenham Antique Center — I didn’t get to stop this time, but add this one to your antique-shopping list too!
🍦 Blue Bell Creameries — because can you really come to Brenham without Blue Bell?! Stop by the Ice Cream Parlor for a $1 scoop. 💙
🛒 Goodwill — our last thrift stop of the day!
🍽️ Old Independence General Store — we ended the day with one of the BEST chicken-fried steaks. The perfect Texas ending to a Brenham day. 🤎
There are still SO many Brenham favorites I couldn’t fit into one day, but this gives you a pretty great place to start!
📌 SAVE this for your Brenham day trip!
And tell me — where should I take you thrifting next? 👇
