Last week, Adam from Church of the Ascension, a new Anglican church plant in Tomball, reached out to us with a need for folding chairs. We didn’t have many available at the moment, but we were happy to share what we had!

It fills us with joy when we can help when someone reaches out. We’re grateful for opportunities like this to support our neighbors and be part of the community we call home.

There’s more to a thrift store than meets the eye. Before an item becomes someone’s next favorite find, it has already been part of a journey, from the generosity of a donor to the hands that sort, check, clean, price, and carefully place it on the floor, ready for its next chapter.

Behind every rack, bookshelf, and display are people who care, and behind every donation is someone who chose to give something a second life. That’s what makes thrifting so special. It’s not just about what you find, but about the community of donors, volunteers, and employees who make each find possible.

To everyone who gives, helps, sorts, organizes, shops, and supports RWAP, thank you for being part of the journey.

Every item has a journey.
Every find has a story.

This week, we were so happy to welcome a wonderful youth group from Trinity Klein Lutheran Church to RWAP!

These young volunteers generously gave their time to help freshen up our store. It was such a joy to see their energy, kindness, and generosity in action.

Experiences like these are about so much more than getting the job done. They give young people the opportunity to serve, give back, and experience firsthand the difference they can make when they give their time to others.

We are so thankful for every volunteer who gives their time and energy to help make our mission possible.

Thank you, Trinity Klein Lutheran Church Youth Group, for spending your afternoon with us!

You know the adage: One man's trash is another man's treasure.

Before you toss it, ask yourself: Could this become someone else's treasure?

That closet cleanout, garage project or piece of furniture you no longer need could be exactly what someone else has been looking for. Decluttering your home doesn’t have to mean creating more waste. Donate those unwanted items to RWAP and help someone else embrace their potential.

A budding candle enthusiast might need just the glasses, cups, teacups and ceramic dishes you donate to become wonderfully unexpected candle containers. Who says a candle has to live in a candle jar? Your imagination is the limit!

So when you’re ready to clear things out, donate them to RWAP and let someone else give them a new purpose. Then come to RWAP and see what inspires your imagination.

Your donations are a big part of what makes RWAP possible.

Donate it. Someone’s imagination will do the rest.

A donated piece of clothing can mean so much to someone in need.

Sometimes, a fresh pair of shoes means being able to walk somewhere safely. A clean outfit can mean having something to wear when going to a community kitchen, a job interview, or simply getting through another difficult day.

We’re grateful to have Officer John from the Tomball Police Department stop by RWAP to pick up clothing for people in our community who need it. Knowing that items donated to our store can find their way directly to someone who needs them is a beautiful reminder of the impact a simple donation can have.

We deeply respect the work Officer John does in service to our community, and we’re grateful to have people like him here in Tomball who look out for others.

We’re happy that, through your donations, Resale with a Purpose can be part of that help.

Donate. Shop. Volunteer.
Together, we can make a difference right here in our community.
