Our partner Veteran Andy Jackson has a message from the American Legion for veterans seeking housing where they can support one another.

Over the past several months, the American Legion, Just Believe, and MA-22 has established a comprehensive advisory board to assist five veterans in Ocean County. Currently, we are working with these veterans to provide stable housing conditions and facilitate their gradual reintegration into society.

Each veteran has a dedicated case manager and plan, and they are actively engaged with various veteran programs to secure permanent housing in Ocean County or elsewhere in New Jersey.

We extend our gratitude to our partners, including the Westlake Veterans Group in Jackson, who have played a crucial role in launching and refining this program. We are committed to collaborating with other veteran groups and community members to empower these veterans to achieve their goals.

The veterans are actively involved in daily and weekly household chores, maintaining the property, and fostering a supportive community.
