Based out of Western New York, we hand pour all natural, soy candles in small batches to make sure we can create the perfect candle every time. imple. It’s personal. We love creating enjoyable experiences, both for events and the everyday, for family, friends, and ourselves. A Secret Garden wedding reception simply glows with candlelight in the evening. A dinner party for the winter holidays wouldn’t be complete without a little Fireside light. Of course, there isn’t anything better than relaxing after a long work day with a good book and a cup of Lemongrass Tea. We have put a great deal of thought (and work) into our scents, our packaging, and our business as a whole. Our scent experience is soft and subtle, enhancing (not overwhelming) your environment. It was important to us to make sure our candles weren’t going to overwhelm a space; we wanted to enhance it. There are no paraffin fillers or additives; we’ve tested every single scent to make sure it’s “just enough.” We also made sure that our candles, both the packaging and the scent experience, were appealing to both men and women alike! Candles are traditionally seen as a feminine product and we don’t like that. During our product testing, we used our husbands, Frank and Michael, to get a different scent and packaging perspective. All too often, “masculine” candle scents lean toward aftershave, smoke or bacon but men like baked goods and flowers too! And women like campfire and woody herbs! Frank’s favorite is Bergamot + Tarragon while Michael’s is French Oak. Our packaging is neutral and classic: silver tins, brown kraft boxes, a classic font, and a simple elastic bow. We’re positive you could gift a Cuba Candle as is to anyone and the packaging would be perfect. You can also create your own custom scent experience with Cuba Candles. Do you love the smell of freshly baked coffee cake and wish we carried a scent just like it? Burn both Pound Cake and Cinnamon together! What about that iconic “line dried linen” scent? You know, the one that wants to smell like you’re drying laundry on a line outside in the summer but it never seems quite right? Light Meadow and then Fresh Laundry. You’ll notice the freshly cut grass that’s right underneath your line dried laundry. And…it’s wonderful. Play around with your scents and burn a few at the same time to create your own custom scents!
