Hillmer's Luggage Leather & Gifts The Historic Hillmer's Building is located at 115 SE 6th Avenue. Waiting for a new tenant. Hillmer's has been closed since 2010. Join us there as we reminisce.

It holds a near and dear place in the hearts of many residents of Topeka. The memories are priceless, and that is why you will find Hillmer's name and huge Luggage sign still affixed to the exterior of the building. A group on Facebook, Topeka History Geeks

We have another "Books" View in these old 1876 photos! Our building was 109 E 6th, across the street, 4 years (1880) later! Oddfellow's Fine Books and Collectables and we (Creative Corners Gallery, Books & Gifts) are still in excellent "Books" Company!

The restoration of the Kansas Capitol was a tour de force, but venture beyond the statehouse grounds downtown and not much impresses. Now boosters are in the midst of a major downtown makeover.

This man used to work for Hillmer's. If you are looking for a repair location, this business is at SW 6th and Harrison. 400C SW 6th Avenue, about 4 blocks west of Kansas!
