Books have a way of bringing people together, starting conversations and giving us a chance to see the world through someone else’s eyes.
Our Stories Museum is proud to host the Black American Blueprint Collective and RING SHOUT African American Book Club for a monthly African American book review series.
Beginning September 10, join in on the second Thursday of each month from 6:30–8 PM for meaningful conversation, thoughtful discussion and community. The series will be offered both in person at Our Stories Museum inside West Ridge Mall and online.
And you don’t have to have read the book to participate. Come curious, come ready to listen and come be part of the conversation.
The first book is The Great Mann by Kyra Davis Lurie, presented by Debra Brown on September 10.
