🏠 Home Office Business

This picture may not look fancy… but man, it tells a story.

Guys moving in shifts. Coming in, heading out, grabbing what they need, checking in with each other, learning, leading, and encouraging along the way.

This little office/break room sees a whole lot of life. 😂 It’s where questions get answered, lessons get learned, plans get made, lunches get eaten, and a team keeps growing together.

At Curb Appeal, we believe a strong business isn’t just built by doing great work for our customers. It’s built by people willing to learn, lead, serve, and encourage one another.

💦 Wash On… and Give Back! ❤️💙

Today was a busy one taking care of our amazing Curb Appeal customers, but we made a little room in the schedule for something extra special!

Our box truck came in handy to pick up a donated pallet of water from Hy-Vee for the Shawnee Heights Marching Band! 🎶🥁🎺

We have a few pretty proud band parents on the Curb Appeal team - Ryan, Jake, and Allison- so getting to use our equipment and a little manpower to help support these hardworking kids was pretty fun.

A HUGE thank you to Hy-Vee for generously supporting band students, and to Dalton and Ryan for making the pickup happen today! 💪

We love taking care of homes and businesses, but we really love getting the chance to take care of our community, too.

It’s the start of a GREAT week at Curb Appeal!

We kicked things off the best way we know how! With good food, a little planning, and some time together as a team at Boulevard Billiards! 🍔🙌

We ate, talked through the week ahead, and got ready to WASH ON! The food and service were fantastic as always…and Jake and Ryan even managed to share their cinnamon roll. 😂👏 That’s teamwork right there!

Grateful for this crew, a full week ahead, and local places that take such good care of us. Let’s make it a great one!

🎓✨ Back to school they go!

Two of our amazing college students, Kyle (pictured) and Mason, have headed back to school full-time! We’re so thankful for their hard work, great attitudes, and everything they brought to the Curb Appeal team this summer.

We love getting to be a small part of our students’ journeys, and we’re cheering them on as they begin another school year! Help us wish Kyle and Mason lots of success! And hopefully we’ll see them back next summer! 💪📚

Meet Casey Richardson, one of Topeka’s 20 Under 40 honorees!

Casey serves as General Manager and Director of Operations at West Ridge Mall, where she oversees operations, redevelopment projects, tenant relations, public safety and community engagement for one of Topeka’s most recognizable properties. She stepped into the role at just 26 and now leads a team of approximately 20 employees while helping guide the mall through a significant transformation.

🏗️ Reimagining a Topeka landmark:
For Casey, West Ridge Mall is more than a building. It’s a place filled with memories of first jobs, family traditions and milestones—and an opportunity to create new ones. Through redevelopment, community events, nonprofit partnerships, job fairs and family activities, she is helping transform the property into a place where people can once again gather, connect and invest in their community.

❤️ Giving back:
Casey serves on the Capper Foundation Board of Trustees, supporting its mission to empower individuals with disabilities and expand access to opportunities. She has also volunteered as a Big Sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters and serves on the Washburn Rural High School Business Advisory Board—investing her time in mentorship and the next generation.

🌟 What leadership means to Casey:
Casey believes leadership isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about showing up consistently, building trust and helping people believe in what’s possible. During a time of significant change at West Ridge Mall, she has focused on creating collaboration and optimism while making sure tenants, employees and community partners feel heard and invested in what comes next.
