How Sunrise Sips Got Started 🍋☀️

Sunrise Sips started with a simple dream: to create something that would not only bring people together, but also bring glory to God. It also began as a way to help support our family financially while I am a stay-at-home mom, allowing me to contribute in a meaningful way while still being present at home. What began as an idea for a lemonade business quickly became something much bigger—a way for us to share God’s love, hope, and Word with others.

We chose the name Sunrise Sips because a sunrise reminds us that every day is a new beginning and that God’s mercies are new every morning. Just like the sun rises each day, we want our business to be a reminder that no matter what someone is going through, there is always hope in God.

Our lemonade is more than just a refreshing drink. Every cup represents our faith and our desire to serve others. Through Sunrise Sips, we hope to create opportunities to meet people, build relationships, encourage hearts, and share the Gospel in a genuine and loving way.

Our prayer is that Sunrise Sips will always be God’s business first. We want everything we do—from making the lemonade to serving our customers—to point people back to Him. If someone walks away with a smile, feels encouraged, or hears about God’s love because of Sunrise Sips, then we know we are doing what we were called to do.

“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31

This is only the beginning of our journey, and we’re excited to see where God takes Sunrise Sips. 🍋☀️🙏

The “Powwow the Pitch” event was a great success last night, thanks to the Haskell and Lawrence communities. The number of participants and spectators exceeded my expectations, as we sold out very early. However, we were able to debut our new signature drink ‘Sunset’ which turned out to be a hit. Yakoke Haskell, for another opportunity to setup.
