This item is a $10 Confederate States of America paper currency note, specifically the Type-68 issue authorized on February 17, 1864, in Richmond, Virginia. It is the seventh and final design series of the $10 denomination issued by the Confederacy before the conclusion of the American Civil War.

Design FeaturesCentral Vignette: Features a detailed illustration of a horse-drawn artillery caisson racing into battle.

Portrait (Lower Right): Features an oval portrait of Robert Mercer Taliaferro Hunter (R.M.T. Hunter), who served as a Confederate Senator and the Confederate Secretary of State.

Denomination: The number "10" is located in the bottom-right corner, and the word "TEN" is printed in prominent block lettering.

The Back: Although not visible in your image, authentic notes from this series are printed entirely in distinct blue ink with an ornate background pattern spelling out the denomination.

Historical Background: These large notes (approximately 7" x 3") were printed by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, South Carolina, and Evans & Cogswell. Due to wartime manufacturing limitations, the Confederacy lacked specialized cutting machinery, meaning bank clerks and civilians cut these individual bills out of large printed sheets by hand using scissors. This crude production method often left the notes with noticeably uneven borders or margins.

The price: $50.00

This Tudor Monarch shows visual traits typical of a well-maintained pre-owned vintage watch.

Visual Observations:

Dial & Crystal: The white Roman numeral dial appears clean, without clear signs of water damage, discoloration, or heavy fading. The crystal does not show deep cracks or prominent impact chips, though fine hairline scratches may be present under direct lighting.

Case & Bezel: The stainless steel case edges and the coin-edge bezel appear relatively sharp. No deep gouges or heavy impacts are visible on the front surfaces.

Bracelet: The integrated multi-link steel bracelet is positioned naturally inside the presentation box. It shows typical light wear but no broken links or severe distortion from this angle.

Presentation Box: The original leather/leatherette Tudor box shows minor edge wear and standard vintage aging along the lip, but the interior lining remains clean and intact.

Price: $1000.00 (Booklet included)
