🙏 Thank you EVERYONE who came to Tower for the Blueberry Bust!
😅 Whew! We did it. Within 6 days of the Blueberry Art Festival in Ely being cancelled, the Blueberry Bust in Tower kinda fell into our laps 😳
🫐The Blueberry Art Festival (BAF) has always made Tower busier, and the Little Green Pantry Tower, MN was already planning on a few indoor vendors and food trucks. After the cancellation of BAF, Main Street businesses started offering their private properties to accommodate displaced Vendors.
🙏 THANK YOU Pike River Products, Tower Zups, Northern Lights Salon & Co. LLC, the Little Green Pantry, Ubetcha, Rolando, the City of Tower, Tower Cafe and the Tower Farmers Market.
🫐So, it just blew up from there- the phone kept ringing for vendor space.
Within 6 days we had to organize, and discovered Karen Hamilton (the organizer from the Ely Farmers Market, was organizing Birch Landing -Art Fair in Babbitt. We met quickly on Tuesday and blew the events up on social media as The Blueberry Loop- to feature Ely, Tower, and Babbitt- encouraging folks to visit and support all 3 communities!
🫐Here in Tower, we linked in the citywide garage sales, Tower Farmers Market-Tower,MN, and the Tower Cafe sponsored a car show on Saturday.
🙏 THANK YOU Vendors, Artisans, Food Trucks, Makers & Bakers!
🫐 We spoke to each vendor toward the end of Saturday. Those who traditionally sell at BAF said their sales were comparable or better as participating at BAF for both Friday and Saturday. Other vendors were selling out of merchandise and food, claiming the Blueberry Bust was record sales for them, or at least, exceeded all expectations!
🤷♀️ We’re not sure if Tower has ever seen the amount of traffic we had on Friday & Saturday. We were all very apprehensive each morning- worried, wondering if folks would come- and did they ever!
😳 We’re not really sure how many folks came to Tower, probably In the THOUSANDS - we were too busy to look outside ha!
📈Here at UBetcha Antiques & Uffda Gifts - Tower, MN, over the 2 days we had just over 2200 ppl come through our doors- each day beating our Fourth of July records, which is traditionally our busiest day of the year! THANK YOU!
