Sharing a new piece called The Flow. Vibrant ribbons of color weave across a deep black backdrop, folding into turquoise, mint, magenta, orange and deep violet. Circular cutouts and small floating fragments give the composition pauses so the movement reads more deliberate than chaotic. I wanted to share this piece. Petal-like bulbs of cobalt and teal rise from a glossy sea-green base, their surfaces lit from within by pearlescent veins. The forms sit between bud and droplet, with slender stems linking larger pods to tightly furled shoots that suggest motion. Smooth translucence and subtle ridges catch the light differently as you move around it, while hints of gold and violet thread through the blue and translucent green leaves keep the composition airy. It has an aquatic, otherworldly quality without overt drama. I’m sharing Space Mechanical Butterfly 2 from my shop. It features a mechanized butterfly floating in a star-speckled void, wings of gears, filigree and jewel-like insets in cool turquoise, deep indigo, burnished bronze and violet. Tiny circular cogs and concentric rings read like miniature planetary systems, and a swirling multicolored planet behind the upper wing adds a sense of motion. Delicate openwork reveals inner parts while smooth reflective panels catch the light, giving the image depth and a mix of engineered detail and fragile elegance. A finch caught mid-beat, its red mask and sunlit yellow breast standing out against a deep black background.
