It's that time once again friends...The Fun Factory week at a glance!!

Tuesday - Flesh and Blood Armory night tonight! Starting around 6pm Classic Constructed is what is being played and as always, good times to be had by all. We've also got our weekly board game group gathering which is always a great time!!

Wednesday - POKEMON!! Our pokemon night is a casual and laid back play experience where we just want everyone to enjoy playing the game at whatever skill level you're at.

Thursday - Commander Night! These are always our biggest nights and as such usually some of the most FUN is produced on these nights! Things can get a bit competitive at times, but we have a wide variety of players at varying skill levels so you'll always be able to find a game at the level you're looking for!

Friday - FRIDAY. NIGHT. MAGIC. *AIRHORN SOUNDS*
Ok, maybe that's intense, but it's exciting! We run two (yes, you read that right, TWO) FNM events weekly, one being draft and currently one being an alternating format. Now that Hobbit is released we have moved to our next format rotation and will be doing Pauper until Reality Fracture prerelease. 7pm start for both of these events

Saturday - Yu-Gi-Oh! at 1pm (i'll be real, usually closer to 1:30). Been doing the back and forth with Konami, so we should start seeing OTS packs soon! You should probably just come and play on Saturdays so you can stay updated. It's also Commander Night 2: Electric Boogaloo - Wrath of Kinnan. Same deal as Thursday, and since you already came out and played Thursday, you already know how it works! Wait, are you telling me you DIDN'T play Thursday?! Bruh, get here and play.

A NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHES

SUNDAY - Ok, seriously though we are technically still closed, but the lights will be on. Sunday we are celebrating the life of our friend Cole who was taken from us entirely too soon. It's BYOB, bring a dish to pass (seriously, it's a potluck, bring food, please) and be prepared to play some commander, enjoy good food and good company, and remember our friend the way he'd want us to; surrounded by cards and friends.

Oh yeah, and if you made it this far, we've got Hobbit, including collector boosters, and the new Guildpact Series Dragonshields so......should probably come get those while you can ;)

Holy Heroes in a Half Shell...wait, we did that one already. Sorry. Regardless, it's Tuesday, it's August, and it's time for your week at a glance!

Tuesday: Flesh and Blood Armory at 6, we'll be playing Classic Constructed! We're gearing up for Mastery Pack: Warrior and should definitely see some fun shake ups in the FAB meta! We also have our weekly Board Game get together with fun to be had by all. New faces always welcome and encouraged!

Wednesday: Pokemon League! Starts around 6, we focus on a fun free play environment, and you get stuff just for playing! Wow!

Thursday: Commander Night!! Wanna play some casual commander? Awesome! Come on out! Wanna work up a sweat turning cardboard sideways? DO IT! (think Shia LeBouef). Just make sure that everyone at your table is on that same page please =)

Friday: FRIDAY NIGHT MAGIC...is still technically happening, but in the form of THE HOBBIT PRERELEASE *QUE AIRHORN SOUNDS AND STUFF* Yeah, you heard me. HOBBIT PRERELEASE! Registration is open RIGHT MEOW! Come into the shop to guarantee your spot! We don't take payments over the phone, so please don't ask. Payment is required IN STORE for your event registration. Once the event is full, it's full! The event starts at 7pm SHARP!

Saturday: HOBBIT PRERELEASE 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO: THE HOBBITING! Same song and dance. Event starts at 5:30 SHARP! But don't worry Yu-Gi-Oh players, we haven't forgotten you. Saturday's normal event is still happening at 1pm! Four rounds of swiss with FUN to always be had!

I'm sure I missed something, so you should probably just swing in, say hi, get some awesome cardboard and cardboard accessories, and perhaps a crisp high five or two!

Ok. So, fun fact: Neither Lee or myself are super good at this whole interwebz thing these days, so please be patient as we try to knock off the old man cobwebs and get back to it. That said, here's your Fun Factory Week at a Glance! (Trying to get better about this!)

Tuesday: Flesh and Blood Armory at 6, we'll be playing Classic Constructed! We've got a community hungry for growth so if you've been curious swing on in! We also have our weekly Board Game get together with fun to be had by all. New faces always welcome!!

Wednesday: Pokemon League! Starts around 6, we focus on a fun free play environment, and you get stuff just for playing! Wow!

Thursday: Commander Night!! It's free. You show up. We pair you. Everyone has fun and maybe wins some prizes, and hopefully leave with a good story or two. Remember friends, it's called Magic the GATHERING. We're all trying to have a fun time here. We are The FUN Factory after all! ;)

Friday: FRIDAY NIGHT MAGIC!!! This will be our last week of Tiny Leaders so if you haven't had a chance to try it, now's the time! As always we will be running TWO Friday Night Magic events and will be running draft at the same time! Starts at 7pm. It's fun. You should check it out.

Saturday: Every Saturday at 1pm we have Yu-Gi-Oh!! Great dedicated community always looking for more players to keep it growing! We also have Commander Saturday evening. Same format as Thursday, just with extra Saturday flair! It's that it's Saturday. That's the flair.

(except on prerelease and official release of new sets). We have draft every week, and starting this week we are running TINY LEADERS for our FNM! If you haven't played Tiny Leaders, check it out and come on down for a good time and learn something new!

Saturday: This Saturday we are CLOSED in celebration of Lee somehow surviving another trip around the sun! Repeat, this Saturday, the 4th of July, the yearly holiday celebrating a great Canadian, will in fact be observed, and we will be CLOSED!

Happy Tuesday fellow Fun seekers! Quick reminder that we will be CLOSED this Friday and Saturday as we attend/vend/get in to shenanigans at Cherry Capital Comic Con this weekend, so make sure you come out there and visit us! Saturday is a sealed event that will be sure to be filled will TURTLE POWER! Registration is currently open at the shop, or can be done day of at the event!

Magic: The Gathering TMNT Sealed Event Registrations are still open! Sign up at the Fun Factory!

Brought to you By Fun Factory TC, LLC, Magic the Gathering will make another appearance at ! The event will be as follows:

Standard Sealed Event
Event Starts at 10:30AM, Saturday May 23rd, 2025 in the Peninsula Room

$50 Entry Fee

Registration:
- Early Registration is currently open at The Fun Factory, will remain open until closing time Friday night (May 22nd)
- Registration will be open on the morning of the event from 10-10:30am in (cash preferred at that time)

Deck Construction:
- Each player will receive 6 Packs from the MTG TMNT set.
- Once the Packs are handed out, players will be given time to construct decks using only cards found in these packs and basic lands provided.
- Decks must have at least 40 cards (including basic lands)
- Cards brought from outside this event are prohibited
- Players may not trade cards for constructing their decks (trading will be allowed after the event has concluded)

Competition:

- Play will begin with a Swiss Round ensuring each participant will play a minimum of three (3) matches during the event.
- Top performing Players in the Swiss Round will advance to Elimination Rounds (number of players in the cut will be based on initial player count). These will be Single Elimination Rounds until one winner remains.
- Players are allowed to make changes to their decks between rounds, provided they adhere to the same deck construction rules as before.
