“Someone remembers buying flowers before a wedding. Someone else stops in every Mother’s Day. Maybe another customer recalls picking out an arrangement after saying goodbye to someone they loved.

The flowers are different every day. The people are different too. But over time those ordinary moments begin to collect in a place, almost without anyone noticing.”

Scott is a Michigan-based artist and the creator of Stoney Bend - where every art piece begins as a hand-drawn sketch rooted in real places and the stories connected to them.

His work is influenced by childhood memories of Shel Silverstein, familiar Michigan landscapes, and places that quietly hold meaning - places that feel like home.

Scott wrote a lovely article about The history of the Flower Station and was so kind and generous in sharing his art with us. We are blessed to have our very own print to feature. Thank you again Stoney Bend

This stunning arrangement was purchased by a gentleman with a sparkle in his eyes and so much love in his heart. “I need flowers for my sweetheart. It’s our special day.”

He left the Flower Station with a HUGE smile on his face and we suspect his wife’s smile is going to shine even brighter.

Northern Michigan is filled with good people and beautiful land.

That’s why so many come from all over the world just to be close to what we get to live every day. We are so blessed. We are so grateful.

Winters here are hard, but we come together. We look out for each other. There’s a real warmth here, even on the coldest days.

The Flower Station is honored to serve this community and to buy flowers from local families and farmers — honest, good souls who work the land until the most beautiful things bloom.

On the tough days, we send flowers. And in doing so, we help remind each other that good people still exist.

Pure summer joy 🌻Bold orange roses, stargazer lilies with those perfect pink freckles, sunny zinnias, and lush greenery all tucked into a hammered rose gold bowl.
