My first ever archery elk! I’ve dreamed of a hunt like this forever. Elk hunting is not easy. In 3 miles we gained 1400 feet to get to this bull. And even though my dad called him under 20 yards I couldn’t get a shot because of the dense trees. I was able to follow him and find a narrow shooting lane at 57 yards to seal the deal.

Now that's a good paper tune!

Why do you want to paper tune your bow? First, it shows you if the arrow is leaving the bow in a straight flight path or not. If things are off the paper will tear one way or another. By how it tears you'll know if you need to adjust timing, the rest, etc.. You'll know everything is on when you get a "bullet hole" like this one.

Second, it will help you shoot tight, consistent groups.

Bullet hole > consistency > accuracy > ethical shot on an animal
