In preparation for tomorrow nothing better than showing off some hunts from the past few years. Tomorrow is lining up to be another great opening day for our annual youth event looking forward to seeing everyone there.

So about four or five years ago, the Beavercreek group decided to start hosting an opening day Dove hunt for youth. Our first year we had eight or 10 kids and have added a few kids each year since we have been lucky and teamed up with a local farmer who has graciously provided us with the land that we hunt for the event.

This has allowed us the opportunity to get a group of young hunters together and keep traditions alive

 we usually start hunting at first light and come in from the fields around lunchtime where our Beavercreek staff has prepared lunch for all the hunters.

This year the location we will be hunting, allows us to open up the invite for a few more youth hunters, and their perspective responsible adult who would normally be hunting with them.

With that being said, if you were looking to take a couple of kids hunting opening day of Dove season and have not yet secured a location to Hunt feel free to reach out and talk to Tim at 252-671-1650. We would love to see some new faces in our group photo this year and definitely don’t want any kid to miss out on an opportunity to go hunting. 

This is a free event with lunch provided Geared towards the youth. remember you must follow all North Carolina Wildlife rules, and regulations an absolutely no drugs or alcohol allowed.

We only have a few spots left to fill once we reach our limit. I will update the post. Look forward to seeing some new faces and happy hunting.

Ok so Deer season is among us by now most are hanging cameras and putting out food plots in hopes of getting a picture of this year’s trophy buck.

These are some upcoming dates to remember in our little neck of the woods

Archery season Sept. 12 through Oct. 2.  Black powder season Oct. 3 through Oct. 16
Rifle/gun season Oct. 17. Through Jan 01

our favorite weekend of the year is youth hunt will be September 26 and 27th.

Our shop will open at 10 AM on September 26. We will be available the 26th and 27th for any of our youth hunters. 

This year once we open on September 26, we will remain open throughout the remainder of the season our shop hours will run as follows

Monday closed
Tuesday- Sunday will be 10 AM through 30 minutes after sunset.
 with that being said if you are having trouble with a late afternoon harvest and can’t make it in that time frame give us a phone call and we will make arrangements to have someone at the shop once you arrive.

We are pleased to announce that Beaver Creek will be opening on September 26, 2026, in anticipation of the upcoming season. As part of our efforts to better serve our hunters, we will be available exclusively for youth hunters on the opening day and will remain open for Black Powder hunters. Notably, we are deviating from our previous practice of only opening on the r***e season's opening day. This year, we are introducing changes to enhance our services and availability to our valued hunters. In conjunction with this expansion, we are seeking to hire a full-time employee to join our team from September to mid-January. The successful candidate will be required to possess the skills to skin and butcher deer, bear, and wild hogs. Essential requirements include having reliable transportation and a drug-free status. The typical workweek will consist of 5 to 6 days. Interested applicants are invited to contact Tim at 252-671-1650. In the forthcoming weeks, we will be publishing an updated order form featuring our comprehensive range of services for processing trophy game.

2025/2026 season is a wrap. We are beyond grateful for the business this year. We have exceeded last years. We want to say thank you to all our returning customers and new customers, and also to all our help. Today will be the last day we will accept cooler deer. 🦌

We want to wish a merry Christmas to all our customers, truly been a great year. We will be closed for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day to enjoy time with our families. Christmas Eve if you need to pick up your order or drop off a cooler please call us and we can schedule you to come between celebrations. We will reopen normal business hours Friday day after Christmas.
