Located in Maine, each winter we return to Indonesia's diverse islands in search of traditional polychrome mask, wood carvings & sculptures, home decor, garden statuary, Buddhist & Hindu spiritual art, flying goddesses Many of the folks we work with are dear family and friends that we have know for years. We help them by buying directly from them, ensuring they are getting the best price for their

creations and effectively cutting out the middle man. Many of the beautiful crafts you will find in our store are custom made and one of a kind objects that we find or have made to orderon our trips to Indonesia. We really make an effort to find something other than the mass produced handicrafts that flood the market today. Also, if there is something you have in mind, like maybe a custom made door or piece of furniture let us know. We are happy to take your custom orders for you. Creativity is an important aspect of everyday life in Bali. Each day beautiful woven offerings of fruits and flowers are laid out for the Gods. Assuring harmony and balance. This creative energy also flows into the arts of Bali, which originated as a way to embellish temples and please the deities and ancestors. Over the years the crafts have evolved to also include the many items we proudly offer to you from our friends in Bali! We know you will be thrilled with our selection of arts and crafts. Working & living since 1989 in Bali has given us a unique understanding of the people and the culture and the way things work. We strive to obtain the highest quality of materials and workmanship. Indonesian BAMBOO ANGKLUNG
Musical Instrument. This Angklung was hand crafted and tuned in Bali Indonesia from sustainable and eco friendly bamboo by a family of traditional Musicians. It has 8 double hanging tubes that hang from the bamboo frame. It comes
disassembled, but is very easy to put together as each part is numbered.
This is played by gently shaking the bamboo tubes which hang off the frame, creating a very unique sound.
A fantastic addition to your collection of musical instruments. Also fantastic for a schools music program. Both functional and beautiful, the perfect tool for practitioners or anyone looking for a resonant percussion instrument or inspiring and earthy decorator piece.

Organic Sound Healing Bracelet
Rattle Crafted from Natural Seed
Pods from kepayang tree. Handmade in Bali of natural dried tropical rainforest seed pods; Pangi nuts are used to create a rich multi textured sound. The pods are strung onto stretchy elastic cord with wooden beads and coconut shell beads to create a bracelet that you can wear.
When you move your hands the nuts or softly shake creating a calming, multi-textured & soothing sound that reminiscent of trickling water, flowing creeks, or soft forest rain.
The deep, organic tones of this percussion instrument are perfect for sound work, meditation, or energy cleansing or even just for dancing.
