Hello Sweet-Treats fans! This Saturday is shaping up to be an action-packed day, and we invite you to come celebrate the grand finale of the Las Animas County Fair with us. Be sure to stop by and check out the exciting tech expo, and treat yourself to your absolute favorite shaved ice to help beat the heat.

But that’s not all—we are doubling the fun by setting up our second trailer at the Lathrop State Park Martin Beach Area in Walsenburg!

We are thrilled to announce that Sweet-Treats is officially set up and ready to serve you all your favorite flavors of shaved ice at the Las Animas County Fairgrounds. Starting, July 21st, we will be serving up refreshing icy treats all the way through Saturday, July 25th. Whether you’re looking for a classic favorite or a fun new combination, we have the perfect treat to keep you cool under the summer sun. While you’re here, be sure to take some time to explore the incredible exhibits and hard work showcased by our talented local 4-H youth. We can’t wait to see you there—come on down and treat yourself to a little sweetness!

It is a beautiful day to get out and enjoy the best of our community, and we hope you’ll join us for a fun-filled schedule of events! We are kicking things off this morning at the 4th Annual Spanish Peaks Veterans Community Living Center’s Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show, where we’ll be serving up your favorite shaved ice flavors from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Once the show wraps up, we’re heading over to La Veta for the second night of the Highway of Legends Rodeo, with the action starting at 6 p.m. Additionally, our second trailer will be stationed at Lathrop State Park’s Martin Beach area from noon to 6pm. Whether you’re a fan of classic rides, high-energy rodeo events, or simply soaking up the sun by the water, come find us, cool off with a refreshing treat, and help us celebrate this wonderful day together!

Hello, Walsenburg! We are thrilled to announce that we will be bringing our refreshing treats back to town. Catch us parked at the Safeway lot this Friday, July 10th, from noon until 5:30 PM. If you can’t make it then, don't worry—we are also heading to the Highway of Legends Rodeo in La Veta this Friday and Saturday. Come out to enjoy the excitement of the rodeo, cheer on the riders, and cool down with a cup of your favorite shaved ice flavors. We can’t wait to see you there!

Wednesday June 10th. There with be two sessions one from 10-11 and the other 12:30 to 1:30. Hello, Walsenburg! We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came out to visit us at Safeway last weekend; it was a pleasure serving you! We are thrilled to announce that we’ll be back in action this Saturday and Sunday at Lathrop State Park. You can find us set up at the Martin Shore beach area from Noon to 5:00 P.M. each day.
