PALS- Pet Assistance League Store PALS is a charity thrift store dedicated to funding low cost animal services in our community. 🐾 PALS is a 501c3 charitable organization.

Our mission is to provide and promote the resources, education, and programs needed to help Southern Colorado's pets, animals, and the people who love them. PALS is primarily funded by our thrift store, in addition to grants and private donations. Our Services Include:
•Low Cost Spay/Neuter and Vaccination Clinics and Vouchers
•Feral Cat Trap/Neuter/Release
•Emergency Pet Food Pantry
•Special Events, Community Outreach, Education, and much more
We promise to do the most good with your shopping dollars and tax deductible donations. We are fully committed to financial transparency and accountability, and dedicated to recycling and low-waste operation. We also strive to make shopping at our store and attending our events a welcoming, fun, inclusive, and positive experience. We love what we do, and we hope it shows!

This is your pets chance to be a calendar star! For just $20, pick a special date in the calendar and submit your favorite pet photo. All “date space” photo entries are automatically eligible for selection as “month” or cover photos (in addition to your chosen day).

🌟 Not only will your furry friend get a shot at fame, your entry will help fund low-cost animal services in our community. It’s a win/win!

• Submit a high-resolution photo (300 ppi is recommended) for the best chance of being featured.
• Please, no humans in the photos.
• Featured photos will be selected by an impartial panel of judges from outside our community. Since the PALS team knows and loves so many of your pets, we want to keep the selection process as fair as possible.
• Multiple photos may be featured on a monthly page based on photo quality, composition, and designer discretion.

🐈 Please join us in extending our heartfelt thanks to the amazing Patricia Picard! 🐈‍⬛
This 90-year-young Chicago native is part of our PALS extended family: She is PALS Team Member Lynn Binder's mom! Patricia is a woman of many talents, and has donated over 60 handmade cat trap covers to help with our TNR program. These covers help feral kitties feel calmer, safer, and more secure while they are being transported and going through the Trap/Neuter/Return process. Not only has she made them functional, they are also beautiful! Each cover takes about 3 1/2 hours to make, meaning Patricia (along with her feline sewing assistants Flash, Suzie Q, and Stevie (RIP)) has dedicated over 200 hours of her time to this project.
Patricia sure does keep busy: In addition to her sewing work for PALS, she also puts her talents to work in the "Hearts For Moms" mother/newborn hospital program, makes blankets for chemo patients, and crochets hats and scarves for our local "Shopping With Santa" event. She’s also an avid gardener. What a dynamo!
Thank you, Patricia, for sharing your time and talent with animals and people in need. You've brought great comfort to many cats here in the Trinidad area. We're so very grateful to have you as part of the PALS family!
