Sorry my post yesterday was confusing. For 10+years we have operated 2 Facebook accounts. 1) Jay and Mary's Book Center and 2) Jay & Mary's Book Center. We are deleting the “Jay & Mary’s Book Center” Facebook account. If you want to continue to follow us simply add yourself to “Jay and Mary’s Book Center” page. By doing this you will continue to get coupons and posts from our store’s Instagram account

John Scalzi is the winner of the 2023 Robert A. Heinlein Award, given for “outstanding published works in science fiction and technical writings that inspire the human exploration of space.” Winners are chosen by a committee of SF authors chaired by Michael F. Flynn, and receive a certificate plaque, a sterling silver medallion, and two lapel pins, all featuring the likeness of Robert A. Heinlein.

His science fiction writing is outstanding. John knows it is not my preferred genre. But once I read Lock In, I was hooked. Congratulations John. Well deserved. 👍
