We’re coming up on 28 years as a small family-owned design company and thought we’d share a little about who we are.

Potting Shed Creations creates handcrafted garden kits, grow gifts and nature-inspired products for garden centers, gift shops, nurseries, bookstores, floral shops and specialty retailers across the country.

Designed and handcrafted in Idaho, our collection includes organic herb & vegetable garden kits, flower growing gifts, houseplant kits, pollinator-friendly gifts for bird, bee & butterfly lovers, and eco-friendly garden products created to inspire people to grow.

Along with our garden kits, we also create unique hardgoods like native bee houses made from upcycled wine bottles.

And our Seed Saving Kit — the very first product we designed nearly 28 years ago — remains one of our best-selling gardening gifts today.

We’re incredibly grateful for all the wonderful retail shops and wholesale partners we’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years. Your support has helped our small business continue creating thoughtful, giftable gardening products for nearly three decades.

NEW succulent terrarium.

Growing & giving succulents is said to symbolize growth, new beginnings and strength. They are often given to represent strong friendships, bring good luck to a new home or commemorate milestones like a wedding or a new job.

We took our inspiration for this design from Victorian times, where growing plants from seed was a way to connect with nature. This kit celebrates that tradition with a blend of 3 succulent varieties, popular during that time.
