Just a quick update. Fall is around the corner. We've got good availability. And these are lurking a lot more.

In all my days on the Kootenai I've seen a whole lot of Bull Trout caught...some big some small. Generally when they get to be 12 to 14 inches or bigger they turn into meat chasing carnivores. Preying as much as possible on other fish and bigger protein sources. Big Bulls eat BIG streamers and such. And I've had plenty of smaller Bulls eat a big rubber legged nymph.

But never have I seen one this big eat a size #14 Prince Nymph. Until now. On 5x tippet. Landed and swam away hard!
