Have my gun store friends found a new spot to shop, yet? If not, Goshen Guns in Edwardsville is a store to check out. The owner, Terry Bast, has over 300 fi****ms in stock. And, what he doesn't have, he can most likely order it for you.

I was working there a couple of days a week, and I really enjoyed seeing so many of you. At this time, however, my back has decided to make retirement official, and I am unable to work at Goshen Guns. I have an appointment with a neurosurgeon at Barnes on July 3. It's going to be a long summer!

On a different note, I sold the building to Doug's daughter, Christy. She is an artist extraordinaire, and she will turn the gun store into an art studio. Stay tuned and check out her site, Paint with Christy. It will give you a better idea of what is to come.

Awww, the Trojan Arms roof sign came down today. It already seems odd to drive on Market Street without seeing the sign. My memories are fond ones, and thanks to so many of you who supported us for seven years.

Doug's desk is still for sale. It has the desk, return, and hutch, and two rolling file cabinets that can tuck underneath the desk if desired. $200 or best offer. It needs a good home. Paperwork and mess not included.

The desk is 59" wide at the front and at the hutch. It is 104" front to back and 72" tall.

I'm so excited to announce that Brandon (aka Big Daddy Brown) is starting a new job on Monday. Yay! His new gig will be with SCI Engineering as a field technician. As many of you already know, he is also attending McKendree University and has completed three courses since January.

BTW, I want to publicly praise and thank Brandon for sticking by my side through this last year and a half. It has not been an easy transition, and Brandon took good care of his second "mom." Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Got candy and a Sig Sauer P365? Yep, the boss lady's candy jar has found its way to Goshen Guns. Plus, there is a P365 in the case. Once it's gone, it will probably be six months before he gets another one. For some reason, these bad babies are still hard to get. Would enjoy seeing you tomorrow or Friday. I hope you enjoy this sunny, warmer day.

If the wind doesn't get you tomorrow, come on by Goshen Guns on Friday when I will be there. Terry's store is one of a kind in this area.
