Look for springs. Trout will often hang out below cold water springs when the water gets warm. Fish the water directly below this. Years ago, I gotta about a 2 footer here on a stimulator. One of the best eats I ever had.

Trout are cold blooded creatures. They need cold clean water. When the water gets above a certain temperature, say 67, the fish you catch in that water will likely swim off and die. It's like if you ran a marathon in the heat, and stopped, and then ran another one. Not good. Your body has no time to recover, and you'd likely die of a heat stroke. Same with trout.
