I’ve been on a decluttering journey and I’ve finally allowed myself to start buying bins. I told myself that once I removed all the junk that I could get myself some cute organizing systems to keep all of the stuff I actually use.

Day 48 of decluttering and we’re ahead of schedule!

Back at it and things went a little differently this go around!

I found myself with some more time than usual and decided to make a real effort in actually organizing instead of just decluttering.

The playroom has been overflowing with of these little trinkets and thingamabobs for years, so it feels really good to get those annoying little toys put away in a somewhat organized manner.

I have been learning A LOT as I go through my own little decluttering challenge, but one thing I know for sure is that I'm feeling a bit lighter within my home - and that's the whole point (at least for me it is!)

I've got such a long way to go, and I'm hoping to maybe get a bit ahead of schedule so that I can use some of the year to actually organize. We'll see!

Not pictured: the curtain wire kit went in the bin with all of our hardware and the paint pallets went into the arts and crafts bin 😊 so that’s 2 items I decluttered and actually put in the right spot instead of just throwing them in the closet or a drawer!
