Gina Smith has been a Trumbull local for 20+ yrs, and a lifelong CT native.

She’s also been part of the Pure Poetry Family since day one!

Now that her 2 boys are grown and off to college, she’s ready to get back to her passion for painting and creating art.

She is also a skilled graphic designer - logos, apparel, packaging, beverage - she’s dabbled in it all over her 30+ years in the biz.

Gina’s painting style is inspired by abstract expressionism, the bright colors of modern and pop art, and also pulls from her love of music, fashion and interior design.

Personally + Professionally, I have been through A LOT since the inception of Pure Poetry in 2015.

You see, this started YEARS AGO, in my head. Have you been in my head? It’s a roller coaster of a ride to be on!

But here we are, 11 years and 12 holiday seasons later, my kids have grown + have supported me along the way, along with countless others, I won’t even attempt to name them. They know. 🪻

And I learned along the way by failing + faltering. I’m really not afraid of too many things any longer.
