Every square inch of Gather has been thoughtfully considered over the past three years—including this.

All of the bisque used in our pottery-painting sessions is handmade in-house by local ceramicists. So when you come to paint pottery at Gather, you’re not just creating something truly one-of-a-kind—you’re supporting a local maker and the work being made right here in our studio.

We’re a few weeks away from a soft opening (although we’ve learned that anything can happen, so all fingers are crossed!) and we can’t wait to welcome you all to our new community studio, bookshop and maker’s cafe!

It was a long day, but we made it home—with all the tile for Gather. ❤️

A huge thank you to a wonderful member of the Chabad community who, in the middle of a downpour, stopped to repair the tire on our slightly overloaded Jeep.

Kindness like this has a way of reminding us that what connects us is far greater than what makes us different.

Our After School Art Club at William E. Cottle School has been such a joy to build as we gear up for our studio opening in July. Over the past weeks, students have explored mixed media collage flower arrangements, foam block printing, wet felted landscapes, sketchbook binding, and so much more — experimenting with process, texture, and creative problem solving along the way.

One of our favorite things about working with children is watching how differently each student approaches the same materials. The results are always thoughtful, imaginative, and entirely their own.

We’re so grateful to the students, families, and staff at William E. Cottle for welcoming us into your community.
