After four wonderful years, Out of the Box Gifts is wrapping up campus deliveries. We’ve loved helping parents send love from home to their college students—especially during those moments when a little extra encouragement meant the world.

Earlier this week was care package making day! It was bittersweet, as these are the last ones we will be making.

Over the past few years, we’ve had the joy of helping parents send a little love from home to their college students—especially during those times when a boost of encouragement (or snacks!) meant the most.

Thank you to everyone who supported our small business and trusted us to be part of your student’s journey. We’ve loved every moment of creating these boxes, and we’re so grateful for the community that grew around them.

With full hearts and deep gratitude, we’re sharing some bittersweet news: the Finals Survival care package is the last care package we’ll be offering through Out of the Box Gifts. After four wonderful years, we’ll be closing our shop once this package is delivered.

Thank you to every parent, friend, and loved one who trusted us to deliver a little love from home. Whether it was a finals pick-me-up, a movie night surprise, or a Thanksgiving hug in a box, we’ve cherished the chance to be part of your student’s college journey.

This little business was born out of our love for our own college kids and grew because of you. Your support, kind words, and encouragement have meant more than we can say.

We know that food allergies can make ordering a care package feel tricky—but don’t let that stop you from sending some love! If your student has an allergy and something in our care package won’t work for them, please reach out to us.

We’re more than happy to make substitutions when we can, and we’ll do our best to create a package that’s safe and still full of treats and encouragement.
