🍎 The symbolism of apples goes far deeper than most people realize…

Most people know the apple as a symbol of knowledge from the Garden of Eden, but the Bible never actually says the forbidden fruit was an apple! That association developed later in Christian art and tradition.

Across cultures, apples have represented:
✨ Wisdom & hidden knowledge
🍎 Immortality (Norse mythology)
🌿 Healing & the magical Isle of Avalon in Celtic tradition
📚 Learning & gratitude (which is why apples became gifts for teachers)

One of my favorite details? Cut an apple horizontally and you’ll discover a hidden five-pointed star inside—a symbol that many esoteric traditions associate with the five elements, humanity, and the idea that profound wisdom can be hidden within ordinary things.

Whether you view apples through mythology, folklore, spirituality, or simply as a reminder to keep learning, they’ve carried powerful symbolism for thousands of years.

Six years of Kyria’s Crystals & Curiosities 🥲💜

This past year, especially these last few months, has been one of the hardest seasons of my life personally. There have been many days when I wasn’t sure how I could keep showing up, creating, or running a business through everything happening behind the scenes.

But somehow, we’re still here. The magic is still alive. ✨

I’m incredibly grateful for Heather ✨️hazard✨️ , who has helped me carry so much of the work when I couldn’t do it alone, and for the small but mighty circle of people who have supported me, checked on me, encouraged me, and helped keep both me and this business going.

And to every customer who has shopped, shared a post, joined a live, sent a kind message, or simply continued believing in Kyria’s: thank you. Your support has meant more this year than I could ever fully explain. 🫂

These six years have taken me places I never imagined, introduced me to incredible people, and given me a life filled with stories I’ll never forget. It hasn’t always been easy, but it has certainly been a life worth remembering. 🥹

✨A new era has begun✨

After years on Wix, it was finally time for a fresh start.

Wix was an incredible place to begin this journey, but as Kyria’s Crystals & Curiosities has grown, I needed a website that could grow with it.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve migrated the shop, reorganized collections, cleaned up listings, and rethought how everything is organized from the ground up. Because of our recent clearance sale, you’ll notice there are fewer products than before, but that’s only the beginning. We wanted to get the ball rolling instead of waiting for ‘perfect.'

This website is a living, evolving canvas. New items will be added regularly, along with blogs, educational content, and features we’ve been dreaming about for a long time.

Most importantly, I hope this makes it easier (and more fun!) for you to explore all the curious finds waiting to be discovered.

We’re officially halfway through 2026. ✨

Whether this year has been everything you hoped for or nothing like you expected… there’s still half a year left to write the story.

What’s ONE thing you want to accomplish before 2027? 💜

I’ll be honest… this year hasn’t gone the way I imagined. It’s been full of unexpected challenges, hard lessons, and a lot of growth.

But maybe that’s exactly what I needed to get where I’m supposed to go.

There’s still half a year left to write the story, and I’m choosing to believe the best is still ahead. 💜

This was the hottest pop-up I’ve ever done. 🥵🌈 Thank you to everyone who came out in the heat to celebrate Pride! I may have had a few mini heat strokes 😅, but I loved meeting so many new friends. Thank you for supporting my small business. 💜
