💛 Self-Care Saturday
Sometimes self-care looks like rest, quiet mornings, moving your body or taking time to recharge.
And sometimes… it’s buying the cute hat. 😂
I found this hat while traveling and immediately loved it.
And then that familiar little voice started…
Do I really need it?
I already have hats.
I don’t need to spend money on that.
Funny how easily we can spend money on things that are necessary—or buy something for someone we love—without giving it much thought.
But something we simply want because it makes us happy?
Suddenly we need to present ourselves with a full financial justification. 😂
I’m learning to stop doing that.
Of course, self-care doesn’t mean spending money we don’t have or buying everything that catches our eye. But when it’s something small that I genuinely love and can comfortably afford, I’m learning that I don’t have to talk myself out of it simply because I don’t need it.
I’m allowed to occasionally buy something just because it makes me smile.
So I bought the hat. 🧙♀️✨
And I freaking love it.
Today’s little self-care reminder: You’re allowed to be one of the people you spend your time, energy and money caring for, too. 💛
Are you good at treating yourself, or do you have to talk yourself into it too? Drop a 🧢 if you understand the struggle. 😂
