It's almost time to party!

Tomorrow morning at 10am is our Mabon Soundbath with Jennifer. Join us to relax and reset for the upcoming season. If you've never been to a Soundbath before, it's like a guided mediation with crystal signing bowls, seed pod rattles and a handpan drum. The next Soundbath is Oct 31st for Samhain.

There are still a few spots in Mike's Astrology class: Say Hello to Saturn at 2pm. Mike's advanced classes will continue to meet on Sundays, and he will also be starting a new series, starting with Astrology 101 on Oct 3rd that will meet on Saturdays.

Next Saturday, Sept 26th is our 3 year anniversary, and we're busy making our party plans! In addition to our local vendors, flash tarot and aura photography, we're planning lots of special promos, door prizes and a free spell jar activity for you! We hope to see you there!

Practical Magic 2 Movie Info

First, my apologies to anyone who wanted to join us, but found the tickets sold out. We initially rented out a basic theater with the hopes that we could just cover the rental fee and have a little party with our shop friends. After listing the tickets in the afternoon, they sold out overnight. The next morning, I contacted the theater and begged for a larger theater, and she gave us the largest one they had. Those additional seats also sold out within hours. I'm honestly stunned that so many people wanted to participate, and I hate that I had to turn anyone away.

If you are joining us Wednesday the 16th for the private viewing party of Practical Magic 2, we have some info for you:
(If you are like me and need to know what to expect)

-Galaxy Theaters is 100 S Houghton Rd, Tucson, AZ 85748.
East Broadway has been closed between Kolb and Pantano all day today because of down power lines, plan for time to go another route just in case they are still working on it tomorrow.
-The theater doors open at 5pm, and the movie starts at 6pm. I'll be in the Lobby with your tickets around 4:45 pm. If you bought more than one ticket they are all together under the name of the person who purchased them. If that person won't be in attendance, please let me know as I won't be handing them over to anyone else.
-The photo spot will be outside the screening room, but other activities are inside the theater before the film starts. Hold on to your ticket because it will get stamped when you pick up your freebies!

We can't wait to see you!

Tarotscopes

Aries: 2 of Cups. How lovely to have a partner who meets you where you're at! Find the emotional balance with the help of another person who cares about you this week. You fill their cup, they fill yours. This has date night or an outing with a cherished friend all over it!

Ta**us: The Tower. Its time to step way out of your comfort zone, Ta**us. The Tower is a shake up. Something is on a shaky foundation. You can stay in the Tower as it crumbles around you or you can be the lightning, the impetus that brings the tower down. Watch your temper this week! Tower is Mars energy.

Gemini: Ace of Pentacles. A new opportunity this week! This could be a new opportunity in career, finances, or health. Accept this with open arms! This path is a new abundant journey. The ace is the beginning! Where you go from here is up to you.

Cancer: 3 of Pentacles. It is going to take a team to get things accomplished this week. While teamwork does make the dream work, everyone must put their nose to the grindstone to accomplish a common task. And. Someone must manage that work. Thats you this week, Cancer!

Leo : 6 of Pentacles. Happy birthday season, Leo! 6 of Pentacles is lovely, harmonious energy. But at its core is you get what you give. Find the balance between giving and getting. Sometimes, you have the resources to be charitable. Sometimes, its you needing the hand up. Give some and receive some this week.

Virgo: 9 of Wands: someone crossed a boundary before and it gave you a metaphorical headache. See that bandage? You are more prepared now than you were then. You know what you need to do to defend what you are passionate about. Your boundary is strong. Release those who continue to test it.

Libra: the Lovers. Choices, paths and crossroads! What decision are you on the edge of making? Choose what completes the puzzle, the loving path, and you can't go wrong. Also, is there someone who could use a little extra TLC in your life? Is it you?

Scorpio: Empress. Get grounded in your abundance this week, Scorpio. What you touch blossoms. What you think about, you bring about. In this fertile soil, be sure you are planting and nurturing only what you want to grow.

Sagittarius: 10 of Cups. Bliss, family harmony, happiness and rainbows! Take some time for play this week. Indulge with others you love in a fun outing or adventure that fills your cup! Happiness this week is a choice and you have so much love to give those who love you back. Take a breath and live in the present moment.

Capricorn: The Chariot! Victory is yours! You must just take the reins and steer the horses. What are you moving towards? What are you moving away from? Your path is clear and wide open. Where do you want to go?

Aquarius: 5 of swords. Welp, Aquarius, the swords suit is your suit, but conflict like this isn’t fun. To the victor go the spoils. Now is not time for a victim mindset. Take back what is yours. Alternatively, sometimes walking away is the best option because you have no time for drama. Is what was taken worth fighting for?

Pisces: 4 of Pentacles. Where are you holding on too tightly? What are you guarding so carefully? Is it really worth it? Being grounded is very important, but when we hold on for the sake of holding on, no one wins. Ask yourself what do you need to hold? What can you safely let go?

Collective: 4 of cups. What new support are we ready to accept? 4s are stable, but sometimes stable=stuck. It might be time to drink from a new cup. A fresh, emotional gift is coming in. Don't be so focused on what's in front of us that we miss the gift.

What's happening in August?

August has snuck up on us a bit with vacations and back to school prep, but it will be here soon!

August 1st & 2nd, Join us for Lammas (1st harvest and midpoint between the summer solstice and autumn equinox) celebrations!

For the Lammas craft, we'll be making corn husk dollies.
Why Lammas and not Lughnasadh? Simply because it's easier to pronounce! Lughnasadh is the Gaelic name for these celebrations before it was rebranded by the Anglo-Saxon Church to be "loaf-mass".

Don't forget- First Sunday crafting is free to attend, just register through the website to tell us you are coming!
