We are doing another Online Auction starting Friday, Sept 18th
We will need items for the auction. If you are interested in throwing some items in for bid, Submissions start now!!! - Auction Submission link here!!!! - https://www.arcadeinabox.com/isle/isleauction.php
All submissions need to be in by Thursday Sept 17th. The Auction will run from 8am Friday Sept 18th to 8 pm Sunday Sept 20th . Sellers will have til end of day Friday Sept 25th to drop off their games to the Isle or contact us with other arrangements. Winners of Bids will have til Wed Sept 30th to pay for their bids or make other arrangements. Payouts to sellers will be in Isle Store Credit after all bidders have paid their bids, minus a 5% fee for managing the auction.
NOTE THE CHANGE IN THE LENGTH OF THE AUCTION!!! It will only run through the weekend. Data has shown most people bid the first day and the last day, so there is no point in running the auction for a whole week.
ALSO, for those from out of town or the other end of Tucson, we can bring your winnings to Rincon, if you are planning to be there. Just let us know.
A couple requests as you prepare your items for upload.
1. Please add the Boardgamegeek link if possible. This will help folks when they are checking out your game to see if it's something they may like.
2. Make sure you include in your description of your games things like condition of the game; does it come with expansions or Promos; is it sleeved, etc.
3. When uploading pictures, we need at least a picture of the cover of the game. Additionally, a picture or two of the contents would be great.
4. When determining a starting bid, use the following considerations. If the Isle were buying your game as a used game, we would probably quote you 25 to 35% of the MSRP and sell it for 60 to 70% of MSRP. We certainly won't try to sell it for more than it's going for on BGG or Amazon. If you want your game to sell, keep your minimum bid somewhere around what the Isle would have given you. This will give the bidders somewhere to go with their bids. If the last auction is any indication, most items will sell for more than we would have given you and less than we would have sold it for, which means both the seller and the buyer get a better deal than if it had sold as used at the Isle.
So let's see those submissions and good luck to you all.
