These flowers of the Rainbow Hedgehog Cactus just glow like crazy for the camera. They're a beautiful fuchsia in real life and the Cacti spines gave this cool purple shade all the time. A great specimen for the collector or just because!

These greeting cards are gorgeous illustrations from Paper Anchor Co. owner Desiree Perez from my former home city of San Diego. I've also received in several copies of her absolutely adorable must-have 'Plant Lover Sticker Book' from her publisher. They're in good company with the collection of her greeting cards, stickers and totes I have carried since I opened Sagebrush + Saguaro almost two years ago. Its very seldom that I get tropical Houseplants to flower as many of them require a certain maturity to do so... and they just aren't with me long enough!
But while watering last week I noticed these beauties starting to bud and they are now flowering!!!
"Bolero Bicolor" Lipstick Plant
Aeschynanthus
This cool plant has variegations of white and creme and lime and the leaves are slightly fuzzy. The tubular flowers resemble a tube of lipstick, hence the name. The habit for this plant is gracefully arching/trailing and so easy to care for!
I only have four left in inventory and it's not a variety I come across with any regularity... come and get yours!

Yup.... moving things around again!
Decided my cashout seemed hidden after I moved it to the back later last year. It's still in the back but shifted so I'm able to greet people properly when they enter the door!
I also needed more room as I've also almost tripled my incense offerings and wanted to make shopping for smudge wands easier.
Always trying to be a better shop for our peeps!

Took the day off to attend the Maricopa County Home Show today.... saw this awesome old fella strapped in and on a truck waiting for it's new owner! This company (a Tucson company!!) Specializes in the removal and relocation of our protected Saguaros from/to private land. Pictures don't do it justice... and it was flowering, too!!

Strings of Frogs in the house!!! This rare variety of Creeping Fig (Ficus Pumila Quercifolia) has tiny leaves that many think resemble miniature frogs... hence the name :) This little guy would be perfect in terrariums, miniatures or even in a little nook where space is scarce!
