What happens when you pull up old carpet...

On this project, we uncovered a shifting concrete crack with the left side sitting a full 1/4” higher than the right side. 📏 If you just lay new luxury vinyl plank or hardwood straight over an uneven subfloor like this, your floor will flex, the locking systems will break, and your investment goes down the drain.
