Boy is it going to be an exciting Saturday on August 29th at Lava Beds National Monument ! Not only do they have their annual Junior Ranger Day going on with tons of activies for all ages, but they will also be helping us host local author H.L. Delaney!
H.L. Delaney writes mythic and historical fiction of the American West. A member of the Klamath Confederated Tribes, he lives in the shadow of Crater Lake and is the founder of Basalt Sea Press, a Native-owned literary house. His debut novel, Captain Jack & The Original Renegades, reached Amazon's Top 10 in Native American Literature.
The latter is available at the park's store and we hope to have many more publications and works from this amazing creator.
Please join us this Saturday, August 29th, at the Lava Beds National Monument Visitor Center for Junior Ranger Day and this meet and greet/book signing with H.L. Delaney.

Not everyone has tons of extra money to drop on a keepsake from their favorite park. Stickers are one of the most popular items that visitors like to pick up; they are small, fun, custom to your personal taste, and usually pretty cheap!
We not only have stickers that are only found at Lava Beds, but we try our best to get a variety of stickers that still suit the overall themes of what you can find at this amazing monument!

We are fully stocked on our hoodies! Have you seen these new colors? With as bright as they are, we'd be surpised if you hadn't!
We listened to you and chose these bright, neon colors to help you stand out whether you go caving, hiking, or biking.
The design features our amazing drawing of Valentine Cave courtesy of Alyssa Addison who did all of our Developed Cave Stickers. It also has "Lava Beds National Monument" down the right sleeve, keeping the front clean for more visibility.

In case you didn't know, Lava Beds National Monument has their 100th Anniversary of being a Park Service site this coming November!
President Calvin Coolidge established Lava Beds and its 46,000+ acres as a National Monument on November 21st, 1925. The NPS has been protecting and preserving the natural and cultural resources of this amazing site for 100 years!
We are celebrating this amazing feat with this awesome design courtesy of & depicting the history, natural, and cultural resources that this beautiful place offers to the public. We currently have this design offered on a mug, a sticker, and a T-shirt (currently in indigo, sage, white, & black). Metal tumblers are on the way, and other possibilities are being looked at.
