Let’s do a little get to know you section. I have a ton of new friends thanks to my sweet friend, Kagan!
My Mama, cousin, and myself bought this business back in 2010. It was an existing candle business in Mississippi. After a few years, my cousin decided she didn’t want to do it anymore so it was just my mom and I. She did the Mississippi orders, and I did the Tennessee orders. We took turns doing all of the other ones. Heartbreakingly, my precious mama passed away in 2022. I took over the complete business and hope every day that I am running it and making her happy.
Today, you will find us in many gift shops throughout the South! I enjoy doing vendor shows, and you will find me around middle Tennessee at those as often as I can.
Everything from Cotton Creek Candles is handmade by me personally. So if your order takes a little while, just know that it’s just little ole me out in my shop working every day to get orders out the door. I appreciate your patience. I also am a stage four breast cancer currently living with metastasized to my bones fighting like hell every day Survivor! That being said, there are good days and bad days. If there’s a bad day, I try not to let it stop me from getting orders out the door, but sometimes it just happens. I apologize in advance if it takes a little longer than expected.
Most importantly, I am a wife of almost 34 years, a Mama to three beautiful children, a mother-in-law to two and a girlfriend mother-in-law to one. My biggest joy is I am now a Coco to a precious little girl! When I am not in the candle shop, I am painting, crafting everything possible, sewing, or just floating around in my swimming pool all day long relaxing.
Life is beautiful, and I truly appreciate every single order from the smallest to the biggest and hope that you know how much.
