People assume dialing in a new machine means a pile of ruined prints. It doesn’t have to. You just have to test before you commit, not after. Here’s the 2-minute version.

The material test is the whole reason this went smoothly. Less than a few minutes of burning a grid on a flat test piece, and the first real part came out right. No roll of PLA sacrificed to figuring it out.

Black acrylic might be becoming one of my favorite things to engrave… 👀🔥

There’s just something about watching the laser turn a completely blank piece of acrylic into THIS.

I’ve been working on these high school sports hype chains and I’m loving how they’re turning out!

Still learning. Still dialing it in. But THIS engraving… 👀🔥

Took another swing at engraving acrylic and decided to go with something more meaningful this time.

The cut around the outside definitely didn’t come out as clean as I wanted, so I’ve still got some settings to figure out there. But the amount of detail the laser pulled out of this design?

Trying something completely different with this build video…

For the first time: no music. No voiceover. Just the sounds of the shop.
