Ah, the golden age of Guitar House of Tulsa!

This postcard is dated back to 1968, just four years after the original Guitar House location opened on East Admiral Place, right here in Tulsa, OK.
It features original owner, Shirl willsCummins, and the late, great Eldon Shamblin (Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys) as well as Tommy Crook, another local legend who you can still catch pluckin’ and a’strummin’ out & about ‘round town.

The image tells a million tales, and displays some of the most beloved and sought after equipment we covet today.

Truly, too much “cool” in one room.
