Souther Living is spotlighting Tulsa’s vibrant arts and culture scene, among the many things that make this city so special. From legendary music venues like Cain’s Ballroom and The Church Studio to the Bob Dylan Center, Woody Guthrie Center, Philbrook Museum of Art and Greenwood Rising, the feature highlights the places, stories and creative energy that make Tulsa such a unique cultural destination.

We’re always happy to see Tulsa getting the recognition it deserves. 💚

We can’t wait!

A major piece of music history is staying in Tulsa. 🎸

The Church Studio has announced that Barbara Clark, Roy Clark’s wife of more than 60 years, has donated his extensive personal and professional archives to The Church Studio.

A virtuoso guitarist, banjo player, mandolinist and fiddler, Roy Clark was also a singer, actor, comedian, television host and recording artist who introduced country music to millions around the world. A Country Music Hall of Fame member and seven-time CMA Award winner, Clark also called Tulsa home for more than four decades.

His archive includes photographs, awards, instruments, memorabilia, wardrobe and personal papers spanning his remarkable career and life.

We’re excited to see Roy Clark’s legacy preserved and shared right here in Tulsa!

The Humm is now offering after business hours availability for “Creative Fun at The Humm” artists’ workshops, seminars, and paint-n-sip (nonalcoholic) style events for collaboration and education between artists and the local community. One-on-one, small groups, and larger groups up to 12-15 people can be accommodated at the shop. To help offset additional operating costs, the fee for evening events is $25.00 for Humm member artists and $50.00 for nonmember artists.
