Growing up, these weren’t just products; they were an integral part of our routine. Sitting between someone’s knees, hearing “don’t move,” and knowing that shine and hold were about to be locked in.

From Murray’s Pomade, Let’s Jam, to Ultra Sheen, these products truly encapsulated an era. Of course, I had to add a rat tail comb with missing teeth and a barrette.

Making this illustration (artist unknown) into earrings, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia and gratitude.
