WEDNESDAY WONDERS!
May is on the Rise and a great month to get your creative juices flowing and making some fun Mother's Day and Memorial Day items.

Let me just share this little tidbit.

If you're a Quilter and you want to do some Embroidery work on your beautiful quilts, then the Brother NQ1700E has what you need. It can do a 6 X 10 Hoop that will give you the perfect size for your quilt blocks. That's a pretty good size!

If you have a combination machine, then you have a little challenge of having to change over to your Embroidery machine. Then you need to change over to a different bobbin case for the tension settings. Therefore, it could be better to have a good sewing machine plus a separate embroidery machine. So you can be embroidering and sewing at the same time. Some of us get good at multitasking. And it's good for our aging brains to keep it on its toes; like mine. 😳. LOL

The Brother NQ1700E is an Embroidery only machine. And a really good machine to have in your arsenal of Tools to get the job done!

Mother's Day is coming up! This would be a great time to come in and check out some beautiful machines!
Did you know that Janome has a Semi-Industrial machine that can do some thick fabrics?
Click on the Link below for Janome 's website and check out the HD9. This machine is phenomenal if you are needing to do some wallets, bags, real heavy duty quilting, etc. I personally own a heavy duty Industrial that I used to make custom heavy duty drapes for many years. And the HD9 comes extremely close to holding a candle to what my full blown solid industrial can do. I've tested it out numerous times myself. We have a few customers that make custom bags, wallets and purses. You won't be disappointed!

Good morning Folks. Just a note of asking for a little reprieve from all of our wonderful customers. We appreciate ALL of you for allowing us to work on your machines when they go down. At the moment we have had a huge influx of machines come in. It's usually about this time of year it gets this way. We ask for your patience if you need to bring your machine in for service. We are backed up and it could be awhile. Our repairmen are working profusely and are keeping a good pace. You can call the store and get on the call list to get in line to have your machine serviced. JUST A HEADS UP FOR THIS COMING UP WEEKEND WINTRY WEATHER HOURS...
Please call ahead on Friday January 23rd, 2026 and Saturday the 24th to see if the staff made it into the store before you try to venture out. Due to the possible snow and ice moving in, the store could be closed.
Another note, our parking lot does not always get sanded nor snow plowed; therefore it could be very challenging and slick getting into the parking lot. Safe travels and stay warm all.

Note: What are some fun short sewing projects to work on while being couped up? Share your ideas in the comments below. Maybe someone else might like to try to make something and don't know where to start.
