However, we are most known for our Book Bugs and Bug Graveyards! Tales & Thyme is a traveling bookstore in the Tulsa area. We carry used and new books, herbal teas and remedies, and peculiar gifts for that special friend of yours!

Spooky season is here, and the Tales & Thyme bookmobile is crawling out of the shadows.
We’re packing the shelves with strange stories, dark romances, eerie reads, beautifully wrapped Blind Dates with a Book, curious little oddities, and plenty of Book Bugs waiting to be adopted.

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, we’re bringing the weird stuff.

Tales & Thyme is headed to NWA Book Fest at the Walton Arts Center on September 25 from 10–7, and we’re packing our little traveling curiosity shop accordingly.

Come Adopt A Book Bug to choose your specimen, pick its tiny book (bug food, obviously), fill out the adoption papers, and take home the easiest pet you’ll ever own. Just remember: you have to read to feed.

We’ll also have our beautifully wrapped + wax-sealed Blind Dates with a Book, strange little finds from the Curiosity Cabinet, signed indie books, romance, fantasy, horror, thrillers, bookish treasures, oddities, and a few things you probably didn’t know you needed until you saw them.

Basically, if your TBR is already unreasonable and you’re easily influenced by tiny books, strange objects, pretty packaging, and things with adoption papers…

We should probably meet.

I dreamed of a bookstore that could find its readers…

So I built one that could.

A little bookstore on wheels, filled with stories, curiosities, Blind Dates, Book Bugs, and a little bit of wonder. I love getting to travel and sprinkle little bits of weirdness and kindness every where we go!

We just wrapped about a DOZEN new dark academia Blind Dates with a Book, and they’re coming with us to Gypsy House Coffee tonight.

We’ll be set up just behind Fixin’s Kitchen from around 5–10 PM tonight.

Tales & Thyme is popping up at Gypsy House Coffee from 5–10 PM with the traveling bookstore, Adopt A Book Bug, Blind Dates with a Book, the Curiosity Cabinet, oddities, fall finds and all the weird little things you didn’t know you needed.

Already heading downtown for Harry Potter Night at the Drillers? Hanging out at Elgin Park? Keep the night going and come see us afterward.

Grab a coffee. Browse some books. Adopt a bug. Dig through the Curiosity Cabinet. Stay awhile.
