Calling all new crocheters! We’ve got our granny square class on the books with 8 open seats! In our beginner class, we taught you some basic stitches. In this class, we’ll put those stitches together and learn how to work in the round to make all kinds of granny squares.

The class is $35, with an option to purchase a kit for this moon motif for an extra $4. We’re also offering discounted granny square stitch decks with the class if you want to dive into even more options!

Today at Kate Lowder, Wooleyboogersfelt and Morel Fiber Arts are introducing their new collaboration called the Snownado Beanie! This design was inspired by the wild weather we get here in Oklahoma, from thunderstorms and tornados to snow storms, and sometimes all at once! We had a ton of fun putting this together, and hope you get as much of a kick out of it as we did making it!

Limited quantities of the Snownado Beanie kit will be available at the Wooleyboogers/Fibers of My Soul Booth at Fiber Christmas. If you’re not able to visit to snag a kit, you can find the pattern on Ravelry at the link in my bio.

Wooleyboogers Felt Creations and Morel Fiber Arts have collaborated on the most adorable Colorwork knit hat! The pattern is called Snownado! This kit will debut Fiber Christmas in July! Jen Marquez Ginn did an outstanding job on the pattern and I created the colors on a lovely DK weight yarn! Supplies are limited but you won't want to miss out on this one! Steeking! It’s definitely up there as one of the scariest concepts for a lot of knitters. Taking scissors to your knitting?! Big yikes.

This was my second time taking this class, and while I have yet to put my learnings into practice, thanks to the helpful guidance and encouragement of , I feel like I could brave it. One of these days. 😅
