We specialize in gently used homeschooling materials on consignment. We accept incoming material on Wednesdays during our open hours. We make exceptions for those who live at a distance, so just ask! We also can arrange to meet you outside of store hours if you are in Tulsa (say for a dr appt on a Monday). Just drop a pm here and Sue will give you her phone number to coordinate. Blessings!

Concert went well, we are continuing to plow through the material on hand, and have expanded the area for "tagged but not yet shelved", which is easily shoppable! Normal hours this week...no tweaking foreseen! 1-6 Tues-Fri and 10-3 Saturday!

Oops! I almost forgot to put this up, so apologies in advance! Sue has a concert to play across town tonight - gotta be in place no later than 6, and the music starts at 6:30. I need to change and get ready and leave at 5:00 - so we are closing early today. Thanks so much for understanding!

We are finally in a spot where we can focus on processing books! It feels so good to be emptying boxes, and having a place to put the material when it's tagged. I will be posting photos to show off some of the refurbished areas...right now that includes the white "kiosk" near checkout, the language arts and history aisles have been completely redone...literature has been moved and replenished, and we have a full shelf of American Girl books again! We even have a new section with the adult Christian non-fiction materials, and we will be able to separate out the titles that show up in curriculum lists, and the others that are just great reading! We even have a full shelf of devotionals for all ages...There is still more organizing to do (I can't wait to get my hands busy in the new history supplement department!) but it is now a fun work in progress! Come see and play....it is feeling so good again!

Labor Day weekend is already here? I thought summer just started yesterday! LOL Remember - we will be closed tomorrow (Saturday of Labor Day is our closeout for the summer) Normal hours going forward: OPen 1-6 Tuesday to Friday and still 10-3 Saturday! Blessings!

I've "edited" the hours on our FB page and on Google at least twice each so far - but I'm afraid that they still show that we open at 10 this week. If you need me, call 918-438-9889. I'm only 10 minutes away - and we WILL be open from 1-6 Tues-Friday until June 1st - but if you are from out of town and show up before then because the online hours are wrong - CALL me - I'll be there as quickly as I can. Hmmm....I just changed the hours on Google to reflect our return to school year hours (1-6 Tues-Fri and 10-3 Sat), but it's a bit slow to update. Will be watching to make sure it "takes". Also - we will follow our tradition of being closed Saturday of Labor Day weekend, so this coming Saturday Sept 5th we will be closed for family time. Welcome to the official beginning of the new school year!

Several Classical Conversations families have asked if we have the new Math Map that most communities are now using. FWIW - we have 3 sets of "Complex" and 1 set of "Monomials" on hand. (Do I know what that means? Nope! But I figure you all do!) If you still need one of these, let me know and I can set them back for you on the reserve shelf. (BTW - the catalog I have prices this item at 119.00 Let me know if that has changed.) That makes our price 89.99

It's Thursday! This has been our first week of classes at Aspire, and I'm already so excited about the adventure ahead with my students. Every class has such SHARP young people....it's gonna be a good year! Tonight is my first night back at Tulsa Community Band rehearsal for the season as well. If you play an instrument, come join us at the Union 6th Grade center on 61st between 169 and Mingo at 6:30. The directors are wonderful...the music is varied and well chosen, and the other folks in the band are delightful. Some folks haven't played in years (even decades), and some have been IN the band for decades....it's all good!
This will be a great school year!
