I make displays for small businesses and I talk about it as much as I can to anyone that shows interest. I post progress update videos. Sometimes I post videos about me and my world. I comment on accounts that are related to my business.

All of these things are social media marketing.
I'm not pushy when I'm doing these things above. At its core, I'm trying to create some kind of relationship. If I create the relationship, it means people know I and my business exists.

I'm not great at it. I'm inconsistent with it, actually. I know what needs to be done and I try to make it work.

I say all this to say that social media is very important to business. Creating the community, the relationship, is very important to business.

If you have a business, you gotta make videos. You gotta find your customers and get to know them. Go do the thing.
